Michael-Fey-Shoot-the-NoiseSince moving into creative licensing and the representation of recording artists for all forms of media, SHOOT THE NOISE founder Michael Fey’s successes have included placements of hundreds of songs in film, television, ads and video games. These projects include: Grey’s Anatomy, Shameless, SUITS, Parenthood, Elementary, Criminal Minds, Station 19, Animal Kingdom, Charmed, Siren, Chicago PD, The Royals, iZombie, Bull, Hellboy, SIMS Supernatural, Need For Speed, Mechanic: Resurrection, Diary of A Wimpy Kid: Dog Days of Summer, Office Max, Applebee’s, Braun, LL Bean, Pepsi, T-Mobile, and Yves Saint Laurent.

As an independent music supervisor or consultant, Michael’s recent projects have included the six-part docuseries The Imagineering Story, released on the Disney+ streaming platform. For this project, he also worked on two of its trailers and its show promos. As well, he worked on the Riot Games League of Legends Origins documentary (Netflix), Mickey Mouse’s 90th Birthday Special (ABC), and three Google online ads. Michael has handled many other music-driven projects, including Kelly Clarkson’s musical for Fox, From Justin To Kelly, The Reagans for Showtime (nominated for seven Emmy’s), Emmy-nominated documentary The Pixar Story, released by Disney and Pixar, the Oscar-nominated Recycled Life (HBO), as well as Citizen Hearst (Biography), The Perfect Game (Image), A Year On Earth (Discovery Channel) and more.

Michael’s career began with several years in music creative affairs at Disney-Touchstone-Hollywood Pictures, where he made significant contributions to dozens of films and soundtracks, including The Sixth Sense, Grosse Pointe Blank, Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo, Snow Dogs, 10 Things I Hate About You, The Princess Diaries, Pearl Harbor and Remember The Titans.
